Actually, I heard that sometimes bettas come in wet java moss across from asia! Still, that bag is awful!!
On the other hand, WOW!!! He is really pretty!!!! Great buy!!!

That size bag is standard for betta shipping, it's what mostly everybody uses. It seems small but in actuality it prevents the fish from sloshing side to side too far. Sorrell's plakat is obviously pretty large (pretty AND large! )

i was told by a reputable breeder (100+ shipped a month) that it's not so much the size of the bag (width-wise anyways) and level of water (2 to 3 inches is adequate) that matters as having enough air above the water and the box being packed properly when it's shipped that guarantees success in the game.

Very nice betta.I do believe thats stander size for a ba..My HM that came was in the size of bag...Actually it was LONG...

I think in the bag picture I ws smashing it around a little. It honestly was barely bigger then a toilet paper tube, his little tail was bent when I pulled him out.

He's already looking a lot better, starting to get some of his black on his head. I know they change colors a lot, so for all I know this could just be his color now. He really is a very nice fish. I'll get some flaring pics and see if more color shows, then maybe we can talk BOTM, but I want to see his potential first.
