My two Angels fins have started to rot, I first noticed a pinkness round the base then gradually their head and tail fins are falling apart. There also not eating much and hanging about at the top, that's very unlike them. None of the other fish seem affected, any ideas why both of the fish have it, are Angels more prone to it??

I've changed 110 litres of water over the past 2 days and everything seems as normal (0, 0, 20ish).

I've read one person say Melafix then another say it killed his whole tank, not sure what to do??

You should take the angel out immediately, and put in in a QT tank. If the fins are really rotting, then other fish will attack him/her.
I need some more information to help you:

Date and time of last water change:
What part of fish are rotting (To help
link) :

I don't know what the problem could be, maybe some bad bacteria in tank.
If you answer the two questions above, I hope I can help. :S

Edit: If you don't have a QT tank, do a water change.

Hi, I don't have a QT tank :/ I've changed about 75% of the water over two days and had changed 25% on Wednesday so the full tank has been replaced with new water. Thanks for the link, both fish have rot on the Dorsal and Caudal, on one fish one of the pelvic fins seem to have dropped off. Theve been off their food and very lethargic over the last 5 days.

On a positive note I added meds to the tank around 3 today, just came in and they were both swimming about the bottom looking for food, I'll take that as a good sign.

The only thing I can think of is infected water (bad bacterias).
If you changed the water now, they should be fine, maybe do one more on monday or tuesday.
I really hope they get better, I love angels!

I have one myself, check it out! http://www.flickr.com/photos/tomshootsphoto/6691070973/

Very nice!! :) Mines are only half that size and the all gold kind, they were growing really well until this so fingers crossed they pull through.

Yes, fingers crossed! Angels can make wonderful fish, if kept in an enviroment suited for them!
Sadly, my tank is a little too small for mine. Looking forward to get a bigger one!

Keep up! I look forward for further info on your angels! :)
