Angelfish Pair

how do i know if my angelfish are a pair and will they breed?

they both hang around in one corner of the tank almost defending it but they have been hanging around there for months and still no eggs?

You won't know if they're male or female until they show their ovipositors which is the breeding tubes. The males is thin and pointed, the females is bigger and thicker.

When do they start showing their ovipositors. I have 4 in my tank i would think they would of paired up, but not sure how to sex them out.

They only show this when breeding mate, although my male tends to show it quite often but the female not so.

Maybe he thinks his luck is in!
