Today i bought a tiny little angelfish from my LFS.

I was not sure about getting one but i have wanted one for ages, the only thing is will it be ok with my east euro rams and my dwarf cockatoo cichlid? because obviously i don't want them fighting or killing each other.

Are the fish in my tank compatible enough? are there any risks or fish i should be worried about?

Cheers :good:

my clowns are only 4" they have plenty of space in my tank, more than enough, my tank is 55" long so i can't see why i cant keep them in the tank if they grow to their maximum of 12".

I have only got 2 clown loaches now.

So are angelfish and rams ok together then?

Plenty of problems... I think they will fight... not to mention angels need more acidic water than do cichlids.. you need to ask before you buy because your tank seems like it's a bit of a crazy non-compatible tank... just my 2 cents...

If you keep one angel on its own, they are much more peaceful. As with most cichlids they can be agressive when breeding. I don't see any problems with that set up

i can see your logic, but clowns really need to be in a group, so you need about 6 of them...... yeah a 55" long tank might be OK for 1/2 12" fish, but not for 6 of them.
