Hey Guys!

I've had my Angel Fish around 3-4 Months now and they don't seem to have grown at all.
They get fed once a day on frozen bloodworm of Granuels.
Both quality brands.

I do a 20% water change every week and use Fresh Start in the water.

The tank is 125 litres and running a Fluval 105 External Filter.

They all seem happy enough, Swimming around, not stressed all very calm and peaceful,
Just don't seem to be getting any bigger.

3 of them are Black with a small amount of silver and 2 are white with black markings, the white ones are slightly bigger
but thats because I bought them from a different store.

What are your present water stats in ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, and ph.
Do you only have the angels in the tank.

You could improve there diet with more frozen foods like daphnia, brime shrimp, green veg.
Also soak there food in garlic juice t boost there immune system.

Do the angels look skinny or bloated.
What does it look like when they go to the toilet.
is there anus enlarged or red and inflamed.
Do there tummy look sunken in.

Is it possible to load a pic of the angels onto the site.

Are the angels stressed with the other fish in the tank?

Theres afew neon tetra thats all, I don't have a water testing kit myself I take samples to local store and they test it for me.
test was done on Sunday and all clear.

The angels all look healthy, poo seems normal, No signs of stress there all quite calm and love there food lol.

Your tanks sounds abit overstocked to me.
Also neons get eaten by angels in the wild. So not really a good choice for the tank.

Invest in some liquid test kits of your own.
For now take a sample of your water to the lfs and ask them to write the readings down for you.

Do the angels act listless and lethagic.
Do the angels look pale or darker in colour.
Are they able to maintain balance in the water.

Need to rule out these factors.
Stress.
Water quality.
Stocking.
Parasites, internal and external.
Bacterial.
Stunted growth due to illness or over stocking.

Also it's best that you only have two angels in just over 20 gallon tank.

I will ask the guy from LFS to come in and have a look at them.
They seem happy enough, no signs of illness etc
Swimming perfectly fine,

There not sluggish or darking around therejust acting like Angels do.

There eatting really well, they won't eat flakes but they like the other foods I give them.

One thing I have noticed if I go near the tank and 1 of them see's me the other 4 will come to where that 1 is.
How do they know?

They come to the front of the tank for food. LOL.
Hoping you will feed them.

Just keep an eye on the symtoms I have mentioned in the above replys.

I feed young fish 4 times a day with wc 50% a week minimum. Fish need plenty of good food and lots of water changes to grow to their full potential.

You do know that you will have to rehome some of these guys? a 125L can only support a pair of angels. It is a deep tank? Around 18 inches or more I hope. I recently had 8 young angels in a 30 gallon. Once I had a pair I rehomed the rest. As soon as the pair develops there will be fighting. The tank is not big enough for the territory.

I was feeding my young angels small amounts twice a day with one day off.

I have 3 angels in my tank. They were all the same size when I got them. 2 of them at one point were 3 times bigger than the 3. he didn't seem to grow at all! Now the 2 larger ones are only twice as big as he has finally begun to grow. It was really odd. I of course moved them from a 29 gallon to a 35 gallon and soon will be moving them to a 65 gallon. Once I moved them it took awhile but he finally started to grow as they have plenty of room. So space could and most likely is your problem as Wilder said.
