Angel Fish

For the past few weeks my angel fish has been having trouble with his eye, as you can see from the pics below his left eye has gone cloudy. Now he is a beautiful fish and I would be sad if something happens to him, he is always watching me whenever Im on the computer.
Can anyone tell me what is wrong with his eye and will/can it get better?

Have you tried treating the fish for pop eye?

No but will be when i get the medicine, if it works will his eye go back to normal?

It may return to normal but the reason the eye became cloudy is likely because of damage to the cornea of the eye, which will take months to heal. If popeye is not treated it will kill the fish. Just be really patient and give lots of TLC to this fish and with proper medication and time the eye should eventually return to normal
