Hi Dee,

First let me say WELCOME to the forum!!! Why not register so you can get the full benefits of all the different forums here??

A nice pleco or some cory cats would do well with angels. Stay away from neon tetra's as they may very well become a snack for your angels!!

You will also want to stay away from tiger barbs as they are fin nippers and will make short work of your angels flowing fins.

hi Dee,

I too have a 55 gal set up...and 6 Angels  right now......but I will be adding more soon....I also have an albino cory cat, and I am going to get some more of those too.

A few years ago I had a 75gal set up, and had a placo  .......NEVER again......he got soooo big, and he made a mess of my aquarium...I would fix it up....he would mow it over....and the placo poo..........oh good grief, how do they do that much, I had to clean twice as much just because of him!

What size are your angels?
Are you going to try to breed them?
Nice to meet you,
Trish

Dee,

I agree with MamaPish about the pleco poo, but you could try some of the smaller pleco species. There are some that will only get to 4" or so!!

Hi Dee,

Yet another angel lover, while neon tetras are likely to become lunch for angels infact neons are angel food in the wild, cardinal tetras which are a little bigger than neons but look identical go well, especially in a group with some tall growing plants to hide amongst, the angels will like the plants to

Rough guide to agel tank mates if it can fit in the angels mouth it will eat it, and if it likes to nip fins it will, so avoid fish that fall into these catogories.

Also silver dollars are one to a void to, they like to make angels look like themselves
