Angel Fish Feeding Guideline

As of now, here is how I'm feeding my angel's. I have 5 of them, along with 2 gourami's 1 rainbow shark, and two plec's.

When I turn on the lights, I feed them 1 cube of frozen bloodworm, 1 cube of frozen brine shrimp, a pinch of flake food, and I also toss in 2 bottom feeder pellets (which the angels also nibble on for some reason) and 2 alge wafers, and a 1/2 cube frozen vegetables (also munched on by the angels).

At night, I feed pinches of flakes, and the 2 pellets and the 2 wafers, then immediatly turn off the lights.

I asked on another forum if I was underfeeding them as the angels always seem like they are hungry, but was told that I wasn't under feeding them.

If I read right I think I am over feeding them?...So I was wondering if anyone had any advice on how I should feed them.

Some one suggested staggering the feedings, and alternating the frozen foods.

I have a variety pack of frozen foods. It includes brine shrimp, blood worms, and vegetables. I also have the tropical flakes, bottom feeder tablets, and algie wafers. Could someone please please pretty please recommend a feeding schedule for them. ) )

Angels always act like they haven't eaten for a week, unless there is food in the tank at that moment. I would ease off on the bloodworms, I've had problems with constipation using them and rarely use them. Bloodworms are great for conditioning breeding pairs, even then they get them only once a week.

I would at the very least alternate days with the frozen food, even skip a day here & there. I also suggest not feeding one day per week, as this gives their system a day to clean out. Eatig veggie is fine for them, but you don't want to give too much protein, this causes bloat & constipation.

Baby angel fish don't have a "shut-off valve" so, if you feed them too much, they'd litterally eat till death!

Angels are PIGS,they will eat anything you put in the tank.If you look at their tummys after they have been fedyou will see how fat they get.
