Although Angels are cichlids. But I have my doubts. I want to add white blushing angel and black veil angel to my tank containing oscars, severams, green terror, texas cichlid, fire mouth. Will it be compatible? secondly should I add a pair of both or a single one of each?

I would not try it if it were me. Of the fish you mentioned I've only kept angels, oscars, and fire mouths. I would imagine the angels would at best get pushed around at feeding time and most likely flat out slaughtered by the severums and the gt or texas. Even though angels can be quite aggressive, they are no match for the fish you've mentioned.

could you tell me some other fish that are compatible in my tank?

well, what are your stats?

tank size, exact number of fish, filtration, water parameters, etc. We would need to know that first. Assuming everything was ok there are lots of other aggressive cichlids you could add. I see you mentioned oscars, did you know they need somewhere around 50gallons to themselves (as adults)for each oscar?

personally i think putting an angel in with the fish you have would be a bad idea. but...assuming all the stuff Meds mentioned is correct and i seriously stress that everything needs to be correct. jack dempseys, convicts, black belts and flower horns just to name a few. i'd be careful with what you add tho. they can all be really mean.

i'm actually surprised that you have severums in there. they are usually pretty placid.

I have added a single flower horn. It has already started protecting his territory.

PLACID? My severams have already hacked two of my old tiger oscars. They tried to do the same with the replacement single one I added. But now that oscar has started fighting back :shifty: Now my tank is in harmony. Every one protecting his own territory. :good: The weeklings are out. In fact i did put two salvinis also. They are of small size 1' yet but are very fast. Keep on hiding in the caves. only come out for food.

I hope to sustain my gang of terminators for a long time to come  keeping my fingers crossed though
