Is this situation recoverable.
For a few weeks now my nem has been showing signs of not being happy, nitrattes had gone through the roof and have controlled them back down with lots of water changes, i had also in incedent of the Ph dropping to 7.7 in the hurry of trying to recover the tank (My fault).
My nem although gripping on to gravel and rocks has been puffing and retracting excessivly and moving around in the tank. It has now been moved up higher in the tank and in a stronger water flow to try and revive it but alas little bits are starting to break up/off - i can only imaging this in not a good sign but can it be recovered, i have worked out that he has been happy in my tank for 3 years with no problems what so ever and in the last few months it has not been overly happy
I am totally gutted if i am losing it, the picture on my profile was taken mid december at happier time and is now in a sorry state.
