William was still around on and off on TFF for a couple of years after he sold the forum; Davy Reynolds stopped posting in 2005.

Don't forget a lot of people drop out of the hobby altogether.

You may do. It ceased to exist a couple of years ago so I can give you the name - aq center.
 
Sounds like the proverbial Java Moss was not greener on the other side of the ornament then.....a mutiny from one forum to a new one started by unhappy campers rarely succeeds cos the unhappy campers tend to think "how hard can it be?" only to find that they are a tiny shrimp in a very big pond and sponsored advertisers to help with running costs are as hard to find as a female Gourami ;)
