Pretty much the same as last night. I think that maybe my first reading that was 10 Nitrite was off as 2 consecutive readings show .50.

Should I do another 50% water change? I did 25% last night and the readings stayed the same.

It can take months i'm afraid. The joys of 'Fish-in cycling'.

I still recommend taking the fish back and starting a fishless cycle. You could be cycled in 1 or 2 weeks because you seem to have the ammonia processing bacteria already. 'Fishless cycling' is easier on you and the fish.

I hate the LFS that I got them from, do not want to go back there. Maybe I can find someone in Brooklyn to hold them for me..

I'd check 3 times a day minimum, with a change as it needs. 1 in morn, 1 at lunch, 1 in eve.

Its hard to tell.

My scorecard of Nitrite ranges from turquois ( I guess like a light green)to dark purple, with scores ranging from 5 to 0, every .25%.

Now,the test tube shows a light blue which doesn't even show up on the scorecard. Kind of in between the 0.25 and 0.

Does that mean its between 0.25 and zero? I brought it to my neighbor for independent verification, she says its 0.

Don't know. Whats good is that its definitely going down.

My pH is 6.8 and Nitrate is steady at 5. I checked Ammonia so many times and its still 0.

I think you're fine to leave off the water change this evening. Maybe check in the morning to see if the levels have risen. If so (Above 0.25-0.5 for Ammonia and NitrItes) do a water change.

That happened to me. I was given a faulty filter and i had to wait an extra week for the tank to stabilise before i could add fish.
