Ok that's good to hear.

One thing tho in a previous attempt the female hid just about the whole time so I didn't leave her in but for very long but she was being brutally beaten up so I immediately took her out.

I was also wondering does the male usually build a nest under the styrofoam cup? I haven't seen a bubble in one ever they always build under a almond leaf.

They build wherever they want... apparently yours prefer almond leaves over styrofoam cups

And my bettas won't even touch frozen brine shirmp. But my goldies, neons, and Jack Dempsey love them. My bettas are just picky.

Edit- They don't even like peas!
