I have a five gallon with 2 guppies and 2 ghost shrimp. They have enough space without feeling exposed from too much space.
The filter spreading a "Bacteria Colony" to be able to break down waste. Is it also good to use live fish in the process? On a side note, when you say you are 'cycling', how are you doing this?
I didn't actually use fish. The filter spreading a "Bacteria Colony" to be able to break down waste. Is it also good to use live fish in the process? On a side note, when you say you are 'cycling', how are you doing this?
No it isn't, that's why I asked lol. I was going to suggest you carry out a fish-less cycle where you manually add ammonia yourself. Here is a good guide to a fish-less cycle: http/www.fishforum...shless-cycling/
The reason it is far better to fish-less cycle is because the fish will not suffer ammonia and nitrite poisoning whilst the bacteria settle into your filter.![]()
