Ammonia Where Can I But It?

can any one tell me where i can buy ammonia from, tryed b&q and tesco, they looked at me as if i was mental!

Hi, I got mine from Homebase, but I think you can get some from boots aswell. When I was looking for ammonia I asked the shop assistants for pure ammonia and they didn't seem to think I'd find it anywhere. But you should actually look for household ammonia, consisting of a little bit of ammonia and mostly water. I think chelating agents are ok too, but you definitely don't want any dyes or fragrances.

cheer ill give homebase a try. What section is it in? how much and whats it called?

they do it at both boots and homebase. personally i would get it from homebase tho. last time i went to boots to get some, on the shelf where ammonia should have been it said "please ask at the pharmacy counter for this product" only to be told by the woman there "we dont sell that product here", so i told her what the shelf said, and got the reply "well there isnt any here"

EDIT - in answer to your question, it'll be with all the cleaning products in homebase, simply called Household Ammonia, costs a few quid, not much

its what happens when i have a deadline looming, do anything other than the work for the dealine lol. internet forums are gonna make me fail my degree!
