Ammonia Levels

Yes,
There is a RES turtle in there, for producing ammonia. Will bacteria ever produce? Or will the ammonia, just keep developing and developing?

Some bacteria will probably develop but not very much. The chlorine will keep it killed off. If you dechlorinate the water, the bacteria will start developing.

Wait! Doesn't chlorine dissipate after a while?
I may be stupid lol..but i'm pretty sure that's why you leave the water out for a week before you put it into the tank.
