Sorry what lighting are you using and are you willing to put it fertilizers and CO2 or just ferts?

You should be fine without CO2 mate that's quite low lighting, still add some all in one ferts twice a week tho.

With regards to plants, you can have a few Sword species, nice looking and ver space filling and I know Stargrass (Heteranthera Zosterifolia) comes from the Amazon too. There's also a couple of red varieties of Sword that come from there too so a few to get ya started there.

Could add some redmoor root wood as the Amazon would have lots of roots under the waterline plus some leaf litter.
