I got a amazon puffer yesterday and it has not eaten all day yesterday and today ?

It's normal for fish to take time to settle in.

If there is a reason though, more information would be useful.

What size is the tank? What are the tank inhabitants? Water parameters (ph, ammonia, nitrite, nitrate)? What are you feeding?

, I bought the puffer online it got delivered yesterday, I was told to feed it blood worms and cockles in the shells also I have snails in the tank

What are the tank dimensions? Amazon Puffers are active fish that love a good current to swim against along at least one long side of the tank, so a 120x30x30cm is desirable, with areas of open water and other other areas very densely furnished right upto the water surface (bored puffers will buzz up and down the glass, they need stimulation).

Why did you only get one? Amazon Puffers are very social and this could be a factor in why yours is not eating, you could easily house at least 3 (if not 4 or 5) in the above tank.

How did you acclimitise the puffer to your tank?
How different were the water parameters (hardness especially) between the shop water and your tank?
IS your tank fully "fishless cycled" including a "qualifying week?"

It could still be stressed from the move, but you could also tempt it with a live garden worm (if you know your garden is not sprayed with chemicals).
