This happend a little while ago but i though i might as well tell you all cause im bored!
I had 6 bettas along my 180g tank in those side holding things, one night i went to go feed my cichlids and i noticed the red one was missing from its holder, somehow it got out. I looked through the whole tank but i couldnt see it anywhere so i though the Oscar got him or one of them, then i looked behind the filter and i seen red, it was him! hiding for his life behind the filter! his fins were all ripped up but he was still alive! somehow he swam arcoss the 6ft of the tank and passed my 2 Jaguars, Trimac, Red Devil, Oscar, 2 sevs, a bunch of convicts, 3 Black Sharks and a bunch of African Cichlids, how on earth he did it i got no idea, i got him out of the tank and then gave him his own 10g tank. And yes i still have him till this day.
He is named: The Cichlid Slayer!
