Mmmmm wonder how he cleans the bottom. Probably use a snorkel :D

Looks great. I prefer how it looked before (ie, in the other picture posted by simonbrown)

It's certainly worth getting the catalog especially for £3, I also have the japanese version which has some slightly different aquascapes and pictures in it.

Regarding the tank - ridiculous!!!!! I imagine that thing cost about 20 grand or something!

ha ha just saw this tank on another forum. there's a picture of amano having a dinner gathering with the tank in the background... one day....one day....

Looks like he needs a bit of light on the left hand side of that tank, i must send him a note and give him a few tips :D

What if that side it made to be darker for a certain fish/plant?

They are both very very big tanks, would hate to do a water change on it

I think at that big the biosphere is big enough that you could just add water when needed.

It makes you wonder doesn't it how big a planted tank could go ?

What about a planted swimming pool where you could swim through the display and view the fish up close ? How cool would that be!

Not sure I'd want to catch dropsy though :)

Water changes will be performed, probably automatically.

I think your talking about a river or lake really aren't you? ;)

Yes i was joking, thanks for clarifying gf.

According to Tom Barr of EI fame this tank cost in the region of $400,000 US Dollars!

Personally i find that hard to swollow, anybody else have any views.........

I wanna know how he rearranged it! Gotta be hundreds to thousands of fish in it, they would be a pain to move to drain the tank and rearrange it but on the other hadn he'd have to wade in it to do it if he didn't drain it....I'm so jealous!
