Do they eat fish poo as well as algae?

Or are they more selective in the scum they consume??!!

No, they only eat algae, and when the algae is gone they need fish food .
You cant buy anything to 'eat' your fish poop other than a gravel cleaner, which you should be using once a week when you do a water change .
