Am I Wrong

I am looking after my neighbours rabbit while she is on holiday she went yesterday anyway i had her birds has well and they are in my heated shed anyway i went to feed the rabbit today first of all i couldnt find him has it was dicussed that it wouldnt be good to go in my shed has it heated 24/7 and he lives outside in a hutch


Anyway i finally found him in a hutch on top of an enourmous empty hutch with no food probley eaten it all i know he couldnt wait to get to food in the bag he looked like he hadnt been cleaned for a while and he hardly had an hay and she didnt leave me any he was covered in a talplin while in this weather i could understand but no hay defeats the object a bit

So i came back up to my house about 4 doors away and said i ain't happy about that rabbit not with the snow and the biting winds i said i get some hay and take it down for him (luckily i have got rabbits and guinea pigs my self so have plenty ) my partner said don't worry about that seprate the 3 tier hutch and put him in the bottom he shouldnt be out in this weather so i have but i think i will be in trouble for taking him but now he is the warmth plently of light and hay and food i have got a idea not to give him back i feel quite sorry for him too cos he is my rabbits brother and i gave him to her she ain't long had one die reckon cos it was to cold for him

Anyway she is afraid to handle him and he has to wait till 10 oclock at night to be fed cos she reckon he attacks her then her husband feeds him so he is in complete dark he has hardly got food or water hardly hay feel so sorry for him

try speaking to your neighbour nicely and explaining this to him/her, if that fails, a midnight rabbit-napping might be in order

I think it sounds like your neighbour is neglecting that rabbit... perhaps if she's scared of it attacking her (how stupid to have a pet you're terrified of btw), she'd let you adopt it?

If not, try and talk to her about how rabbits should be kept... if she doesn't listen I'd call the RSPCA

Just an update i told her i will buy him off her i told her if she had him back she would have to get some heating cos he would have got used to it being in my shed so i am buying him off her for £15 with 15kg of rabbit food
