Am I Overstocked?

What size is the tank? Is the tank at least 2x as long as the catfish? I don't think he has room to swim, thus I think you should let him go. Let him go somewhere deep so that someone doesn't catch him and eat him.

Yummm yumm.. not my tank I found it on google. Just wanted to share with you guys and check your reactions. It looks lonely to me. I think they should get another one.

can anyone say cruelty

It annoys me when when a fish shop overstocks in a small tank but to do it at home there is no excuse.
 
Reminds me of a LFS I visited a few weeks back only it was a common plec and another BIG fish (can't remember the name) in a tank of that size

Infact looking around the other tanks put me off

Is there anyone I can phone about fish cruelty??? :unsure:
 
i love the red tailed catfish though. but they can get to 120cm in aquaria easily
 
ha will show you a photo i took yesterday with a human for comparasion of its size<were taken at bournemouth oceanarium,,,a group of redtail catfish and a handful of tigershovelnose cats...
post pics once i down load them,,,,
that looks an awful tank for that redtail
 
Who knows, Im sure that was only temporary. How could anyone think that was a suitable tank for it.
