Alternative Feeding

no its perfectly fine to feed them to other fish, make sure they don't have ich and stuff. if they are dead make sure to clean them real good.

no wild-caught minnows! wild-caught fish can have icky diseases and things all over them, not even the kind you can see either. i don't think wild fish get Ich, usually internal parasites, and how will you see them?

Live-Bearer fry and small fish are good, though, and if you have the stomach some squashed snails, sliced earthworms/nightcrawlers, and live fruitflies work well ^^

It's best to quarantine them before you feed them but in principle, yes it's fine to feed feeders to your fish.

You should ALWAYS quarentine and as a general rule wild fish from the country side are very healthy compaired to feeders there conditions are better and they are not exposed to as many nastry things (by way of being put in tanks where generations of unhappy and stressed fish have been kept) as feeder fish.
