It's been, exactly the time that I'm typing this post, 20 hours since I first released the female into the spawning tank. Both are acting peculiar....one moment the male chases the female and the next the female chases the male. Anyways, the female has 3 minor torn fins which isn't bad considering 20 hours. Well my plan is to recondition them tomrrow (seperating them today) for about 2 weeks and then try again and if that doesn't work...then it's my bad luck :/ . The male apparently does not know how to wrap around the female and since he's a delta/super delta, it's hard to chase after a crowntail female :( .

i wouldnt give up my first spawn took like 48 hours for them to embrce just throw a towel over it and let it be is wut i didand it workd

Bettaboi is right. You should leave them longer until the third day or the worst one is totally beat up. Usually they take one days but second day also very normal to breed. Did you ever put them side by side while conditioning them? It is much much better because they been seeing each other for a while so they know what they want to do. Another thing is that the female have to be smaller or nearly the same size as the male. If not, sorry to tell you that it will not work.:)

I had my first spawn on tuesday. Hes a delta too and the female is a ct also. The male wraped aroung the female in like five minutes of my puting her into his side of tank. They barely nipped the female only had one and had tons of eggs. This morning i saw a little baby wiggling through the nest but only one so far as i can see.

Wou! your pair wanted to breed so desperately. LOL Bing bang boom! LOL poop!

Uha. That makes more sense. I always told people to left them next to next while conditioning them and let them see each other for a while. Yours even just using a saperated divider in the same tank. Ohhh... He can smell the heat from the female. LOL

During the conditioning, I let them see each other about 15 minutes after each feeding. The male haven't been 'hyperagressive' and so far the female is fine. Alright I'll give them another day and hopefully something will happen. BTW, sorry about the news Infant :(

Pulled the female out. She's getting beat and it doesn't look so pretty. She'll recover hopefully.
