I dose comprehensive the day after a wc and dose the trace elements the day after the comprehensive dose. I occasionally will dose comprehensive a second time a couple of days later. If I miss a dose, it generally is not detrimental.

Makes sense about the nitrates and not adding them also makes sense about using potassium gluconate instead of sulfate. Also one has to take into account that if dosing this way one must have CO2 or the plants wont utilize the iron. Ive used iron supplements before with co2 and without and all it did was seem to grow algae. I think i get enough iron through root tabs instead. Notice the guy failed to show a pic of what looked like a torn up sword. Swords are heavy root feeders and if all this guy is doing is liquid ferts his amazon is going to look like it does. Good info though but i dont think its the end all be all lots of other plant keepers have beautiful plants and use other methods including nitrates. But good info.
