All Pond Solutions Filter?

Think I paid £70 for it so can't really complain.
The mechanism on the top for controlling flow and shutting the hoses off for maintenance seems a great design.
Next time i have to open for maintenance i'll be adding more filter media to it, ill be putting in extra filter floss in the bottom tray, and also sponges for sponge filter to get them cycled ready for when i start my shrimp breeding.

I've never used APS kit, as I've seen mixed reviews - some say it's really good, others have had issues with seals leaking.

FWIW, I use Aquamanta from Maidenheads, nice and quiet, been running it two years and more and had no issues. (And thanks for reminding me, I haven't cleaned it months!)

Going to second this. I've heard APS can be quite loud and problematic at times. Have used an Aquamanta EFX 300 previously, super quiet and pretty powerful.

I have 3 APS, 2x 2000 and one 1400. They are very quiet, and the easiest externals to maintain, imo.
