Hi All,

Just thought I would sing the praises of nerite snails and show you this pic taken of my nano. This happened overnight. I have four in the tank and it has taken them about a week to get all the rocks sparkling clean.

Worth every penny IMHO. If it weren't for my loaches eating them Id have them in every freshwater tank I have.

Their only downside is they can lay eggs that look unsightly and are almost impossible to remove from decor.

All hail the nerites! :hyper:

I actually quite like the look of the eggs on my bogwood, makes it look really natural. :shout:

They do not seen to allow them in the USA.
Olives are native and I have collected hundreds.
Zebra?
A few have slipped by, but very few.

Regards,

Granted it is a pain, but if you're lucky and you get a male, its not a problem :) all mine seem to be males. Maybe they only sell males to prevent people breeding them.. They do, do that with fish.
