What type of algae is this and how do I get rid of it
The dusty greeny/grey stuff on the coraline
Tank lights on for about 8-10 hours a day, since this problem has started I've started using rowaphos even though my test kit was showing phosphate levels of 0

This is slowly going since getting my refuge up and running with a dsb and calurpa, plus a large water change

There are green species of Coraline too...

It may actually be sticky debris being stuck on the wall, or tiny organisms. I used to get lots of this but now only a little, and mostly in the dark.

Actually that stuff is only gray, so maybe it is green coralline that you have?

urchins, asterina, razor blades

Razor blades being the quickest

but remember do not go right upto the seals if your gonna use a blade, have seen so many people empty thier tank accidentally doing that!

I've got some of it growing in my tank and its compeating with my pink coralline algae.
