I have adjusted my flow from the output today so its not giving as much surface movement and pointing more into the tank.

Is there enough movement or even too much still?

The middle section is pointing down enough to to move the surface to increase flow for now.

That looks fine now, grab something to clear the staghorn and you should be fine after.

Brilliant, would you still recommend a powerhead? Im torn between the 900 and 1600 lph, I want enough flow but dont want too much for the fish.

I'd get the 900 now you've cut down surface movement.
