Albinos Acting Different

well i have only a few of these white ball eggs in a big bunch in a breeding net, all the rest are solid creamy yellow colour. it would be hard to remove them but i have removed the white fluffy ones which i believe to be fungus eggs.

will def get some first bites mate and thinking of moving fry into plastic container with only heater and air stone and water from previous tank. would it be ok to take the air stone out of my 3 foot tank? it has a pretty big filter that blows the water about?

Well they should be due to hatch pretty soon,so if you're unable to move them, just keep an eye on them & see if they go furry...probably just infertile eggs.

If you can't get first bites(not all places sell it here)then get tetramin baby, its just has good and i've used it on all my fry :good:

It should be fine removing the airstone from your other tank if you want to set up another tank, but it will eventually need a filter,a simple sponge filter run off an airstone will be fine, they're fairly cheap £3-£5 with no risk of fry being sucked up :good:

i already have a fluval 2 sponge filter but it hasnt been run in a tank yet. i will add just tank water to a smal plastic container and add heater and air stone, where can i get small sponge filter to attach to air stone? i allready have the baby food tetra stuff :)

I've seen them in the lfs,I know Maidenhead aquatics sell them,or ebay sponge filter or this one

Add a little sand in the tub or you will need to wipe the bottom off every day to keep it free of bacteria build up.With no filter it'll be important to keep up the daily w/c's :good:

I have reared some of my fry in a breeding net inside the tank when space gets too much

only seen a few fry but most of the eggs have become fungus'd now so im gonna wait a few more hours and just remove them, will the eggs all hatch around same time?

They can take several hours between them all hatching, normally all hatch the same day though...

Make sure you remove any fungus eggs away from the fry, just in case.
