Can anyone tell me how long does it take for the eggs to hatch?

It takes between 4 and 10 days for the eggs to hatch (depending on temperature) and another 4 or 5 for the fry to become free swimming.

I've just came on from work and the eggs have gone from the cave and the male pleco is doing his own thing. Do you think something has ate them?

The male pleco is back in fanning I can't see to the back of the cave they could of possibly hatched?
