Gosh..
well snotirl,
they look just like glowlight tetras, but have that albino look, pink eyes and pale bodys, they were classed as albino glowlights and we have found one other girl on the web who has some, I hadnt seen them b4 the day we bought them, we also bought a platinum tetra.
*sob* the fish stores near my place don't stock cardinals and glowlights
strange that you LFS dont stock glowlights or cardinals Joshua as they are a pretty common type of tetra .
but yeh neons do seem to die easily, thats because they have a different PH requirement , and prefer under a 7.0 PH, but can adapt as ours is well above 7 and none have died for ages, guess u gotta make sure your water is very clean as well, cos they may be more susceptible to ammonia poisoning b4 it affects your other fish, bud cleans all the tanks once a week, and our fish are in peak condition.
Except for our platies which have seemed to have a parasite problem from the day we bought them.
And thanx for the info on normal glowlights alex, our very first fish we bought were glowlights to cycle the tank, we now have 8 of them,if you have a browse of my fishie list you will see what kind of fish we keep
also check out our fish site www.thebudmaster.btinternet.co.uk
