no the female's gravid spot is not visible and she is not prengnant, make sure water quiality is perfect and when they are ahppy they will do the thing
she is pregnant and should have fry in about 3 weeks time, you should not always go by the gravid spot in many guppies the gravid spot is very clear to see in others it can almost be unnoticeable.
my water quality is perfect for livebearers

I've kept them for a couple of years as well. Fish48 is correct about the gravid spot.

The gravid spot doesn't always imply that a female is pregnant. For a gravid spot is just a translucent or a more translucent part of the skin that may darken. Even a non pregnant female can show a gravid spot. With glass bellies, you'll see the whole process through the belly.

Well, with glass bellies, it's fun to see the whole development of the embryos for most part of the belly is translucent.

By culling (selecting) in each generation. Untill it breeds true. That's how I've done it all these years.

Culling doesn´t mean killing. Culling means seperating from the others. But yes, there are people that do kill them. I don´t. All the culls will move to the mutt tank. Or if someone or a store wants them, I´ll put them in a seperate tank untill they´ll be picked up by someone.

besides being gross coz you can see their guts, what's the point of albino fish? we keep fish for colour and patterns and they have neither.
