My local fish store just got some Albino Corys in by mistake and there selling them at $3.50. Is that a good price? I was thinking of picking up two for my 40 gallon and maybe one or two for my Betta tank.

Depending on size they run from 99¢ to the price you are seeing them at. Might you drive across town and save $1.00 or two? Possibly. But what is your time worth and what are you paying for gas? If it looks like a good shop that maintains their fish in a healthy fashion, I'd support them by paying the amount asked.

A fish is worth what someone is willing to pay for it it. Not a penny more and not a penny less. - Frank

P.S. They prefer to be kept in groups of 5 or 6.
