My tank hasn't finished cycling yet, but I've been looking at loads of fish! The lfs has some lovely little albino corys and some gold (albino?) They both look very similar except of coarse that the gold are very yellowy and the others are as I would expect, translucent white, almost pink.
I was wondering how big these fish get? The lfs said they would stay pretty small but not any more specific than that! All of them were about 1 1/2cm
I was also wondering how many should be kept together, looking at most posts, the general consensus seems to be 5+
My tank is a Trigon 190 with built in filter and will be fairly heavily planted by the time It's ready. One more question, what temperature do they prefer? My tank is at present 26C, obviously I can adjust that well before I put any fish in there if necessary.
Thanks in advance

Bronze corys (which most albinos are) normally stay at around 2inches max, although they can live a long time, and a friend of my dad's has corys that are easily over 3inches long. They're huge monsters! The size of the tank can often dictate the maximum size of the cory, (to a degree.) A trigon 190 is a suitable size for corys, I'd suggest 5-10 are the optimum numbers, although I havn't heard that there is a really maximum, so there's probably no reason why you couldn't do a species tank if you really wanted to!

As far as tempertures go, 26 is fine.

That's brilliant, cheers, growing impatient with the cycling now, but nearly there. Will definately be getting those corys when the time comes.

You're welcome. Don't rush putting them in. Patience is highly advisable if you have any (not that many of us fishkeepers do unfortunately! lol)
