Albino Corys

one of my albino corys has little stumpy feelers (didnt know how else to put it) he was like this when he came from the shop he seems to be feeding ok etc, i was just wondering if there was anyway to get them back to normal? thanks

how do u know its not normal, hard to pass comment without a picture, have u got one?

I have 3 albino corys, can u describe your problem better?

i cant get a good pic sorry, on all my other corys there feelers are abot 3/4 of a cm but on this one they are only about 2mm, all the corys are the same size btw.

Hi,

It is quite common for corys to be bought with worn barbels, it is generally caused by poor water conditions and them being kept on gravel that is too sharp and if they aren't totally worn away they should grow back once the fish is in clean water with smooth gravel or sand to root around in.
