The Taffy Apple
Fish Herder
Afternoon all, hope this thread finds you all well.
Ok, so i added my 3 Albino Corys into my 110L tank 2 days ago. All water parameters are as expected.
I took a little time to research these little fellas before i purchased them and was a little surprised to learn that they can suffer from malnutrition, i'm presuming the vast majority of any sinking pellets and/or flake food gets eaten by the other fish (and believe me, my Goldfinch Tetra are gutsy little sods!), therefore not really leaving alot for my Corys.
The tank had their feed about an hour ago, but what i tried was this--> I put 2 of my 'stick-on' tablets to the same side of the tank with the hope of distracting the other fish, then popped in half a dozen or so of my sinking shrimp pellets in the hope my Corys would find them. Unfortunately, BOOM...in went my female Dwarf Gourami and ate the lot!
So...does anyone have any useful hints/tips/tricks in ensuring my Corys get the nutrition they need?
Any help highly appreciated.
Terry.
