Albino Corydora Missing An Eye !?!

Hi all,

Just noticed one of my Corydora is missing an eye, this is a very recent injury and the fish seems to be acting normally. I'm hoping if the fish survives the injury it will cope ok with the one eye as albinos have poor sight anyway. Is there anything I should be doing to ensure no infections set in?

What other fish do you have in the tank with it?

Poor thing, yes need to know what other fish you keep in the tank.
Just add sone melafix, fish can survive with one eye.

It was a Keyhole Cichlid that was spending the day in the tank whilst I setup a larger tank for it, just bad luck I guess, it had been in a tank with Corys before and never caused a problem. As for the albino, it seems fine this morning so I guess I just need to keep an eye on it.

And i thought keyhole cichlids were fine with corys and tetras. I have an oto with one eye and he gets along just fine.
