Since they spend the majority of the time at the bottom looking for food, the best for them is either sinking algae waffers or shrimp pellets. I use both for my corys.

If your tank will support a few more fish, I would suggest getting at least (2) more albinos so that he has tank-mates, as they are very social fish that do best with their own.

I feed my corys quite a few different sinking pellets, mainly shrimp tablets and catfish pellets, i also put in algae wafers thought these are mainly for the plecs and ottos. Corys will eat flakes if they hit the bottom, but in my tanks flakes don't get that far. Corys should be kept in groups of 3+ so don't get one on it's own. Different types will live together but i have found that only similar looking fish will shoal.

Hope this helps

Mine eat catfish tablets, supplemented by jellied bloodworm or daphnia once a week (more when they're spawning), also boiled peas, spinach, chard.
