It might be. Keep an eye on them and see what they do. If it does not look that way now, check the tank for eggs. Odds are they will lay them on the glass or on the filter intake. How long after a feeding did you notice that it was bigger then usual?

been like it for about 4/5 days, should i put the corys in a seperate tank, or will the fish i have currently (see signature) not eat the eggs/(even worse) the fry :/

Keep an eye on them (particularly in the morning) and you may be able to see them spawn. I think they're the same as peppered corys: they position themselves with him in fron and her in a T-position against his side, and then she stimulates him by digging her nose into his side. She lays a few eggs into a clutch formed by her ventral fins and swims off to find somewhere to lay them, like the glass or a plant.

Hi 'genesis :)

Are your corys mature? Are there at least one male and female?

Corys don't usually look suddenly pregnant or have gravid spots like say, guppies. And they don't suddenly swell up. In fact, a big female can lay a hundred eggs without looking noticeably thinner afterward.

Females are just generally bigger than the males, both longer and broader, if they are the same age. If you can post a picture similar to the one I'm going to show you, I'll help you figure out what you have.

Here's a picture of my mature male and female black C. aeneus. Perhaps you can tell from looking at it what you have.

Since you added your corys at different times, however, there might be an age difference to consider. But they do have distinctive shapes. :D

spose shes just fat then
