Yup! hmm 25-30 only handful came out of cave thus far am debating about pulling rest out into their own 10g but not sure yet.

I found i got a better survival rate leaving them with the parents, of course that depends on what else is in the tank, mine was dedicated to the b/nose.
Started out doing bi daily 10% water changes and had a 60% survival rate so changed to weekly water changes of 20% and ended up with close to 100% survival rate.
Found they were spawning every 3-4 weeks so it shouldn't be long and you will have plenty more fry.

Thanx for the tip! I have one of those clear corner box corner filter's, i found a ton of fry are swimming behind it should i worry about fry that swim into it?

Bloozoo is correct they are albinos (it's all in the eyes). I have had a m/f pair in my 55gal for almost 8 months and I just noticed fry the other day. I am suprised at how big yours are tho mine are a few days old and aren't even that big. But maybe it's just the photo....

I would keep an eye on the filter and if it is easy enough get any trapped ones out, mine didn't seem to want to search for food so i ended up with food in 5 different place throughout the tank, they love the courgette or zuchini, i always keep 2 pieces of courgette in the tank changed daily.
I feed mine on pleco chips and Nutrafin bottom feeder tabsand occasionaly a few shrimp pellets, which can get messy in the substrate so i put in some square glass containers that had 60mm sides to keep the food in one place.

Thanx, hmm u sure? i suggest measuring them up then from head to tail was 1/2".


The caves came from a guy who made alot of us locals pleco caves and sorts, hopefully he'll be able to make me my pyramid i'd like.
