Albino Bn Breeeding With A Normal Bn

yes, and you would get a mixture of normal and albino fry (i think?)

There would be a mix though with genetics it's hard to say exactly how many of which you'll get. Depending on the genes both parents have. If the normal colored BN carries the albino gene, you'll probably have more albino offspring.

I know a couple of people who have done this and ended up with all brown/normal colour. It seems in their case that the brpwn gene just over rode the albino gene even though theoretically there should be a proportion of the offspring that are albino. theory aa (albino parent), BB (brown parent); aa + BB = aa + 2ab + BB with only aa being albino.

the colour depends on the history of the fish.

Albino fish have albino gene
Normal fish may carry both normal and albino gene's (ie parents was normal and albino)
But if normal only carry normal gene then you only get normal fry (but the may then carry the gene which can appear in the next generation)

So it depends if the parents of both fish carry the albino gene.

If they do then you can get a mix the the fry.

Hi these can definitely get together - I have week old fry as proof, Dad is normal & Mam is albino, fry are both colours.

Hi I do this alot, saves on tank space as you get both out as babies..
I find thebrown does tend to be stronger and I get about 2/3 brown to 1/3 albino. But this will depend on the gentics of the fish.
