i have 2 cory's in my tank one peppered one albino. thing is though they are both the same age the albino is a fair bit smaller than its friend, though the peppered cory is a fair size, just over 2 inches. so are albino cory's apt to be smaller than other kinds?

Hi boboboy :)

Without knowing the species and gender of your albino cory, it's hard to say. However, female corys are sometimes, but not always, considerably larger than the males of the same species. If your peppered cory is a female and the albino a male, that could account for the difference in their size. :D

will these help?

Hi boboboy :)

It seems to me like you have two females there, with the top picture being a very healthy looking C. aeneus and the bottom being a C. paleatus (peppered cory).

While I have seen albino C. aeneus that were as large as the mature bronze ones, mine have never grown to that size. They were fed the same, and raised under the same conditions, but just stayed a little smaller. It's possible yours will do the same. :D
