Air Stones In Juwel Tanks

Hiya, I have been considering installing an air stone or some type of bubble maker, but I am sure I have
read that they can crack your tank can this really happen with just by a few bubbles?. Has anyone had any problems with airstones?

I had an airstone in my aquarium for several months and I never had a problem. I'd be suprised to think that they can do this.

My Juwel Rekord 70 has had an air stone in it for 2years without anything bad haapening to the tank.

i havnt got one because well i dont need one anymore but i did use one in my juwel 120, its just that the instructions say not to use one and if your tank breaks with one in the warrenty is kinda void. But i dought they could crack your tank

I have a rekord 120 and run an airstone and had no problems, best to run them in the middle of the tank.

Hi, I have a Juwel Rio 300 and I run an airstone for about 6 hours in the evening. I have had no problems. HTH. They probably put doubts in your mind so you will buy their venturi kit!
