Air Pumps

Hey all,.
Just been looking at airpumps on ebay as in need of a new one for my new tank,
Always used tetra tec's before which more than happy with, nice and quite!
Although do have 1 Rene Air aswell which seems to be very good too.


Just wondered what you lot prefer to use and why? Or does it not really matter?

Plus does any one have one of those Clearseal Double Outlet pumps? Are they any good?

I really enjoy NOT hearing my Rena! Once my cabinet door is closed, I can't hear it at all and I have the huge one for 120g +.

I used to have a "Whisper" air pump and wondered if they meant "Whisper"...FROM A GIANT!!! Lol...crappy, noisy thing.

I've tried a few air pumps through my venture... but ended up with a air pump that can power 5 sponge filters, quiet, sleek looking with a beautiful white gloss finish, reliable, adjustable flow, and cost half the price of the rena's. I'm talking about the fusion air pumps!!( I have the model 700 with 2 airline output)

When i had a fish room one Rena was running 20 tanks all with sponge filters. The diaphragm's lasted twice as long as most other pumps so needed less work.
