Eureka! I have found a 'silen't airpump.
My tanks are in the front room and the hum from the 2 pumps was a little annoying. So I thought i'd see if I could find a quieter 1 with the help of A**zon.
Second go I bought this (https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0DD75344X?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title&th=1) and wow is it quiet. To give you an idea, the 2 previous pumps were measuring around 38 decibels on my phone db meter, this one measues around 26db.
