I have an AH setup I am assembling, and I was wondering if i should fill the wire caps with hot glue or something to seal them up from moisture. for some reason, moisture and electricty in close confines make me a little nervous.

I bought a new electronic ballast to replce the magnetic one I had. fitted it into the existing original plastic fluval hood and then snipped the wires to the orig water tight end caps and snipped the non water tight ones off the new unit then did the twist and stick jobby (Its in a water tight recess anyway)
