it works almost instantly, next time, use pond dechlorinator, it is cheaper and lasts ages!

The action of dechlorinating is instant once mixed so you can add to your tank straight away

I'd used Aquasafe for around four years since I set up my tank. I ran out a couple of weeks ago and had to use a different shop that didn't have any. I bought the API stuff (don't remember it's name offhand) and you only have to use 1 drop for every three litres of water (three drops per bucket). It's going to last for absolutely ages.
