Agressive Pearl Gourami!

I recently added some Turquoise Rainbowfish to my 55 gallon, my male Pearl Gourami won't stop chasing them! I put him in a net breeder at the surface of the tank, will that stop his agression if i leave him in there for a couple weeks? What else can i do?

I won't stop aggresion at all. It will just stress the fish out. I would recommend that you return him or the new fish

What if i rearange the decorations?

It may work, but only if they are chasing out the fish of one place in the tank. If they are chasing them around the whole tank then it might not work
